Using nasal ventilation strips, commonly known as nasal strips or nasal dilators, can help improve nasal airflow and reduce snoring or congestion. Here are three steps to use them effectively:

01. Clean and Prepare Your Nose:

Start with a clean and dry nose. Wash your face to remove any dirt, oils, or makeup from your nose area.

If you have oily skin, you may want to use a mild astringent or facial toner to further clean the nose area. Ensure your skin is completely dry before proceeding.

02. Apply the Nasal Strip:

Hold the nasal strip with both hands, positioning it so that the flexible spring-like bands (located in the center of the strip) are on the underside.

Gently place the strip over the bridge of your nose, just above the flare of your nostrils. Ensure that the strip adheres well to the skin on both sides of your nose.

Press down on the strip along its entire length to secure it in place. This will help the adhesive on the strip bond with your skin.

Allow the strip to sit for a few seconds to ensure proper adhesion.

03. Adjust and Repeat as Needed:

If you're using the nasal strip to alleviate snoring or improve breathing during sleep, make sure it's centered over your nose for optimal airflow.

If you feel any discomfort or the strip feels too tight, you can gently lift one side of the strip and reposition it for a more comfortable fit.

Remove the nasal strip by gently peeling it off from either side when you no longer need it. Peel it in the direction of your nose, rather than pulling it straight off.

Keep in mind that nasal strips are typically disposable and should not be reused. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging for proper usage and any specific recommendations.

Nasal strips work by physically opening the nasal passages, making it easier to breathe through your nose. They can be especially helpful for people with nasal congestion due to allergies, colds, or other nasal issues.
